The direction of the slots or holes makes absolutely no difference. Brake pad gasses don't care which way they go so long as it is out. The direction of the vanes does matter. Point them in the wrong direction and you'll create a vacuum inside the rotor and hello boiled brakes.

This is just one of those custom cars where it's either love or hate in this case I happen to love it. It's original, sure as hell it's unique, and from what I can see in the 3 pictures looks to be well done. I think the tires and the bead lock wheels are what really does it for me.
