The direction of the slots or holes makes absolutely no difference. Brake pad gasses don't care which way they go so long as it is out. The direction of the vanes does matter. Point them in the wrong direction and you'll create a vacuum inside the rotor and hello boiled brakes.

@Isetta: Speaking of atomic cannons the US government recently found one that they lost a few years back.

@pauljones: With a cab that far forward I bet it understeers like you wouldn't believe.

I was fortunate enough to have grown up around two huge car guys. Both my father and grandfather have been working on cars for just about their whole lives. My grandfather is the antique car guy so I've helped him build and rebuild engines and transmissions again and again. My father is the sports car guy so we

This is just one of those custom cars where it's either love or hate in this case I happen to love it. It's original, sure as hell it's unique, and from what I can see in the 3 pictures looks to be well done. I think the tires and the bead lock wheels are what really does it for me.

@luisthebeast: Driving on the BQE? That's some sort of sick joke right?

I would really love to listen in on the phone call to the insurance adjuster on this one.

It looks like it's getting ready to eat somebody.

My heart goes out to all those poor Fiat 500 owners. Your quaint little city cars will be missed.

@Ares_: Yeah the two of them are pretty easily confusable especially when they were both in Subies

Wait a second are you sure that this isn't a Japanese version of DTM?

@Skidracer: I never said that he should quit. The point that I was trying to make is that far to many people see his Gymkahna videos and think that he is a driving god when he isn't. He is still a rookie and should be treated with the skepticism as all other rookies in motorsport. I know that racing has a steep

@RtFusion: It's all flash and advertising with him. If you want to advertise through racing at least try, like Red Bull (F1 and Travis Pastrana rallying). I think at this point a lot of serious rally fans have become jaded with Ken Block, myself included. He's all show and no go.

@Ares_: If by win every Rally America even he entered you mean win 1 event and retire from the other 5 then yes.

Now if he could just finish a rally stage or 2

@brandegee: I guess that makes a bit more sense than what I first assumed, I thought the fans were there to cool the electronics or circuitry that was up there. You would have though zee Germans would have come up with a better snow melting solution like resistive heating film or something like that.

@superhappyfuntime: And when I said perpendicular I was wrong, what I meant to say was parallel to the flow of traffic.

@superhappyfuntime: If you look up the A20 outside Kent on Google maps street view it shows a short curved access road the heads away from the pumps and a guard rail between traffic and the service station.

Now what happens when it snows and the bulbs don't run hot enough to melt the snow and ice? I've seen it happen on LED tail lights.
