I have to vote NP, something seems amiss here. The car appears to have been maintained to a very high standard, but with no proof? My thought is that someone who cared enough to maintain this car would care enough to at least keep a record of it.

Agreed. A used Civic Si, Fiesta ST, Focus ST, or perhaps even a GTI could be had for this price with reasonably low miles.

Good condition, (reasonably) low mileage, and not rotted out? NP all day. This would command at least a $1000 premium over this price in the northeast, where there are almost no clean del Sols left.
