This isn’t Silent Hill either. Bloober still doesn’t understand the assignment.

I would think when given the opportunity to work on a remake a legendary game with absolutely rabid fans, that discretion would be the better part of valor. In other words, I would probably keep my friggin’ trap shut until I got it out the door. But if experience is to be believed Bloober team is not known for its…
I think promo is more about reminding people that the movie exists and is out NOW.
“Both his Suicide Squad movies at WBD were losers (I didn’t even bother to watch the second one)“
He only had one. The second one, which was one of the few bright spots in the DCEU, and it led to a fantastic HBO show.
I’m pretty sure it’s just human superstition at work. The amount of effort it would take to code a system like is being described is non-trivial given there are no hard “specs” just skill point spreads, and given there is no real trading system, what purpose would it serve? Even when Diablo 3 had the real money…
You’re right, it felt like 8 hours of sepia tone.
This just sounds like people are claiming that the Monster Hunter “desire sensor” is an in-built mechanic. People come up with all sorts of bizarre rituals for RNG, when almost always it’s just RNG working as intended.
He could be an AI technician if he is for example training the AI on datasets generated from his own art. Which is a valid method of training AI visual models. But until we see the behind the scenes that shows that, I don’t think they deserve the benefit of the doubt.
Gobbledygook
Everything is just a tool. That doesn’t mean it won’t be misused.
I mean, sure, it looks a bit creepy and weird and inhuman, but like... humans could’ve done that with much more intentionality and better.
In any case the first episode wasn’t all that great either. I’m going to wait to see if there’s more to it, or if the rest of the show is really just what the first indicated.
Most people are pretty uninspired. They prefer to play as humans. If you look up the most common build in any given character creator, the results are about as generic and forgettable as possible.
Funny, “market research” and “what’s in” used to be the go-to excuse for why every game featured Manly Shootmans #910 as the protagonist. Now that the market demands more variety, all of a sudden it becomes “pandering”.
If you don’t care, shut your stupid mouth. This is very easy. It doesn’t matter to you, it does matter to others, so your opinion doesn’t matter. We have plenty of straight white dude games (still the vast majority) for the annoying straight white dudes who can’t shut up, and then a very small handful of games…
Who could forget the story of *THE* rebel spy who stole the Death Star plans? The thing I remember most is how that didn't conflict with any other canon, past or future
I don’t like a character less or more depending on how close it resembles me, I don’t f***ing care if it is a man a woman whatever in between, black, white, hispanic, asian, robot, blob, etc
So you’re a straight white dude and representation has simply never been an issue for you. You just take it for granted that almost everything will cater to you, whether it’s market research or not.
And what is it when someone forgoes sarcasm entirely and just calls you a coward and a lickspittle directly to your face?
I thought she seemed pretty cool from the trailer, so I don’t get all the fuss. But I guess I am not an insecure man-child, so...
Aside from Battlefront II, which features Iden Versio as its main protagonist (though there are missions where you play as Luke Skywalker or Han Solo); Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith, an expansion for Dark Forces II that features Mara Jade as its star; and Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter which has Adi Gallia as its…
