I gained weight after my boyfriend and I moved in together and I honestly think it's because he takes time to prepare wholesome meals for us, whereas when I lived alone I tended to graze. Dinner would sometimes consist of a can of chickpeas because I was too lazy/tired/busy to cook for myself.

In my experience covering court, albeit in the Canadian justice system, youth and lack of a prior criminal record are two of the biggest mitigating factors in sentencing, even for serious offenses.
