The same actors helped create and co-wrote this season. It was their choice to use these new guys, same as when Joel chose to hand the show over to Mike, Kevin and Bill. I'm a huge fan of the original show, rifftrax, cinematic Titanic and this new season. The show is still great and any "fan" who doesn't like it…

Technically, The Simpsons made this joke is 2002, 5 years before Hot Fuzz, but if no one got to make jokes that The Simpsons made, we would have to pretty much give up on comedy forever. #simpsonsdidit
