Used to live across the highway from Moffat AFB. No thanks, I’ll pass on the fighter overflights. You could always tell when it was air national guard weekend because you’d have nearly constant C-130 takeoffs then they’d fly their traffic patterns right over our house. The F-18s would rattle everything in the house.
Nevermind, it basically means RWD. So yes, calling it out on a model the doesn’t have an AWD variant is silly..
Isn’t SDrive the dual-clutch transmission, I think you’re thinking XDrive.
Ahem:
Something with a stick. You can’t use a phone while driving a stick so it keeps you honest. When you’re done learning, you can drive almost anything on the road and you’re apparently carjacking-proof in North America. On the downside you get the people honking at you when you stall during the left turn advance 3…
That sounds like the voice of experience... and an expensive mechanic’s bill.
That’s unfortunate about the rain thing...
I don’t think so, but admittedly I have a small sample set. Both the Z and the 135i will lower the window slightly when the door is opened to deal with the frameless thing. Now I’m trying to remember if I’ve ever seen it on a framed window car...
Holding the unlock button on the key fob will sometimes lower your windows. This is awesome on hot California summer days where the interior is approximately the temperature of the surface of the sun. Both my 350Z and my current 135i do this.
Doors are overrated...
At least in my case it was certainly the base model. This is why I don’t get the desire to sell the absolute worst models to rental companies; My view of the Soul is completely and irrevocably colored by my experience with the stripper model. Admittedly I’m not exactly the intended market for a Kia but, every time…
That looks like a beast!
That title picture breaks my head....
I have to agree. I had a rental a few years ago and it struggled to maintain 70 on the highway with the pedal on the floor when I encountered a slight uphill. Even in town it felt gutless. Admittedly, it was rental spec so probably had the weakest engine in the range but still.
My coworker has a completely unmolested one. It’s a thing of beauty. He was planning on selling it last year and I very seriously considered putting an offer on it.
Nissan Axxess:
The 350Z NISMO had a much better exhaust system that made the VQ35HR sound glorious. I still miss that car.
If Seveneves taught me anything, it’s that we need ISS to camp out on after the planet is bombarded by chunks of the moon.
I saw a minivan not that long ago with a completely standard California plate that read “7TTT777". Basically unreadable. It helped that the vehicle it was attached to was also utterly forgettable.
