One of my co-workers was in from Poland for a week. We were going out for lunch somewhere and I offered to drive. At the time I had a 350Z Nismo which he looks into and says something along the lines of “So you took out the back seat to put in a massive stereo... so you’re a chav then”
I briefly owned an Abarth 500 and an Edge, going from one to the other was... interesting.
Every time I see one of those Echo Priuses (Prii?) it’s that horrific almost green color that looks like they were shooting for pistachio and ran out of pigment...
Are you DD’ing a Formula racer, because that would be awesome...
I took out a deer with a 350Z, it was something like $8000 to put the front end together. I understand the pain.
Get this on the road:
Reasons to live in California #135:
The map shows 4 providers in my area:
I’ve actually done the trip 4 times (2 times each direction). The only problem I had was a spun rod-bearing pulling out of a gas station around Beaverton, ON on the first drive out. Well that and being stuck in a Fiero for 10 hours at a time. I would imagine that’s also a problem in the MR2 ;)
I’ve done Waterloo, ON to Edmonton, AB in a Fiero 2M4. Total distance is about 3200km. The last time I was coming home from university and had all of my worldly possessions in a fabric cartop carrier bag, the trunk and even had a few things in the frunk. Basically every cubic inch that wasn’t for the driver was…
The 370Z, mostly because it’s essentially the same car that Nissan was selling in 2009 when it was introduced and even then it was basically the same car as 2003's 350Z. Nissan’s basically phoning it in on the sports car front lately.
I sometimes wonder about the previous owner of my Fairlady. It came with a peanut butter jar filled with nuts, bolts and a few military style medal bar pins. Not the full medals or anything, just the bars that you’d see on a normal uniform.
I pull two shots of espresso and steam two pitchers of milk to make two lattes for me and my wife every morning and have done so for about 8 years at this point. I’ve gotten very good at it. It’s kinda meditative at this point. You couldn’t pay me enough to switch to some awful k-cup contraption.
We have a cat named Kepler too :)
Here’s my Coonhound, Turbo Brahe, in the wife’s Ford Edge
‘69 Datsun Fairlady. Body work, trying to get it ready for paint, so not really wrench, more sanding and hammer/dollying...
I can understand F2P games that don’t respect my time; game developers need to eat too. But full price games should let me play without unnecessary grind. Even thinking back to old Need For Speed games (oh god I’m old...), you had to earn money to buy new cars but the balance was set up for enjoyability, not for…
Project Cars 2 supports VR and lands on Thursday... I’m excited.
Cows, guns, oil and (usually, present government not withstanding) a conservative government...
