I take your point, but MSNBC was going so far out of their way to find that small percentage of Bernie supporters who sounded like that, and then giving them airtime. And I would disagree that they gave Nader "saturation" airtime back in 2000.
It's good having you in these comments, though, Flyin Hawaiian! Always

By convention's end, even Megyn Kelly and Wallace were rolling their eyes at Hannity's tunnel-vision persona. They literally asked him to find one nice thing to say last night, and then started laughing because he just can't even conceive of a world where those who disagree with him are anything but the dumbest of the

Yeah, I stuided it for awhile, but couldn't make out anything beyond some sort of odd little tweaks, nothing jarring or terribly clue-esque.

That seems to be the prevailing theory at the moment. I'm actually more of the opinion his Mom is in the institution with him as well.

It's a problem with our system. I'm working on it, I promise. Sometimes the wheels of tech move slowly.

Yup. Mistake. (To be fair, I just listened to them both, and there's some uncanny similarities, melodically). Mea culpa.

HOLY HELL YOU'RE RIGHT.

Listening to it now. Thanks for the nod.

All of them, really, after Ten, but those two in particular…

They made a lot of….choices with tribal drums on those 2nd and 3rd albums.

Jesus, why did you do that? Saying "Persona" out loud (or online, i guess) is like a goddamn dog whistle to me.
Guess I'm NOT going to bed at 1:50am! Thanks, christmascaroloates!!!!

Yeah, apologies. A few of you have called that out—I thought I was just giving Amazon shit, but reading it over, it's a bit confusing, given that the smart-home tech was actually a thing in the season premiere. I'm going to tweak that to reflect it more accurately. Thanks for the sharp-eyed reading, Yiffy!

Yep! Sorry, didn't mean to imply it was fake with the scare quotes, just giving Amazon some shit.

Yeah, no Polite Fight, mrpizzadog, sorry. But I do briefly address the panic montage above; Disagree that it was the centerpiece, but it was a great sequence, and full of all sorts of classic Esmail-style clues.

Thanks, muggle! Your point is more relevant than you think—next week's episode is called "init1.asec"…

Nah, Sam Esmail is a real philosophy student himself, and I think his show is a testament to that. I find it useful tracing his themes and calling attention to them with a thematically relevant quote up top. Especially because the quote isn't always reflective of my interpretation—or "hermeneutic," to use the grad

Exactly. Divine eating dog shit in Pink Flamingos is…[shudder]

Now I'm thinking there's something wrong with me that it didn't affect me in the slightest…my significant other almost dry heaved from that scene, as well. But 9 out of 10 comments thus far seem to suggest you're in good company finding it utterly nauseating.

Oh, good catch, Pete! I changed it to reflect that.
