Well it is basically the genesis for everything 4WD that goes off the beaten path. I’m a Land Rover fan (I’ve had 3 at the same time,I need help) but Land Rover would literally not exist without the Willys. Or the Land Cruiser. Or even Jeep in that regard.

I would like to apologise because I basically inadvertently ripped off your comment (but with an original Land Rover). Which, considering the subject of article, is sort of ironic.

I am kidding. Obviously the Land Rover is different (better), I was just making a point that arguably one of Britain’s most famous brands basically started as a very similar vehicle to the Willys Jeep. They say that the prototype Land Rover even used a chassis from a wartime Jeep.

“(i) A boxy body shape with flat appearing vertical side and rear body panels ending at about the same height as the hood;

Both the Taycan and Model S have relatively normal looking bonnets (hoods. Happy now any Americans who read this?) so theoretically you could shove the batteries or just make a huge froot (front boot. I hate the word frunk because it sounds like someone who can’t speak well is trying to say funk). Basically fuck

Yeah, but they are both weird SUV things. I already own an SUV, I don’t really want another one, that can’t tow or off-road and be so cheap I don’t care if I hit stuff offroad.

I’m not really into hatchbacks. I don’t do FWD. Thanks for the suggestion though, I will have a look.

Again, looks are subjective, but perhaps it’s a country thing? I live in the U.K., I’ve seen 3 model 3s, they have stuck out like a sore thumb. In comparison to the XE, A4 and 3 series, it looks completely different. They are more conventional four box style saloons, the Model 3 is anything but that. Again, I

So you read what I said about the 3 and then basically said exactly what I already said. It doesn’t look good. What I want is an electric car that doesn’t look weird, or futuristic, or something else. I want a car, that just happens to be electric. I don’t want a shite interior in a car with a whole roof sunroof. What

Why is Rimac (with the C_2) currently the only car company to make a good looking EV? I mean sure, the Cybertruck ,to me at least, looks awesomely cool but not exactly pretty, in a kind of Hummer H1 way, but nothing Tesla (or anyone else) currently makes entices me like the Cybertruck does. I mean the S looks fine,

Holy shit, forgot they did a 2 door. I don’t think we got them over here. I still can’t find one, I’m keeping my Freelander as my off-road toy and probably just get a BMW E34 525i because I’m sort of bored of SUVs at this point.

Well that was a smashing reveal.

I mean I hate to sound ungrateful that I have your permission to make myself very bankrupt, but I was saying basically I want a small SUV. G63s aren’t exactly what I meant by small, unless we’re comparing them to aircraft carriers. Basically what I want is a new Freelander 1 with about 4 inches more ground clearance

25 year rule? That is shit. I’ll just be glad I’ve got it good. £3750 Defenders and pretty much anything goes.

Absolutely fantastic off-road, fucking awful on it. I want a car I can daily, not a car that punishes me for driving on road.

Nope, it was me being crap with words, I want a manual and with the i6. Unfortunately, in the U.K. at least, XJs are hard to find in good shape and manual. Basically I think I’d just go for another Land Rover. Or maybe a saloon.

I’m british, so my selection of XJs is worse. Mostly auto or diesel.

I do, but I can’t find any that aren’t ether ruined or manual.

I didn’t think of them. Oops, but yeah, add that to my what the options are. My only problem is they have gotten big, I sort of want a compact SUV, renegade sized  and with short overhangs.

That is a good point, bar the Renegade (the trailhawk as the regular base one can go die alone, unloved and covered in faecal matter) there isn’t any cheap, small and roadable compact SUVs that are good offroad. I mean from personal experience, a small SUV that can offroad is almost the perfect car, my Freelander is
