Question, how is the *chassis* determining that a part not structurally relevant to it is stronger than the structural component on the new one? Old Defender Fenders are not what I’d call strong and my unibody Freelanders bonnet and wings has been used as an improvised step ladder by me multiple times with zero damages

Unpopular opinion but MK2 Defender

I read that as “Jesus guns babies” and momentarily was very confused by this campaign bus, had a mental image of Jesus, an Uzi and babies and a bad outcome

Haha! You presume wrong!

More cars need split tailgates, it’s one of the main things I miss about Range Rover ownership. Just sitting on the tailgate and having a cup of tea in the morning camping.

Wait, this isn’t a Jaguar XK based David Brown Automotive Speedback GT?

The roof comes off and no one expects it, or on the other hand, extremely comfortable seats.

And yet I weirdly still have a desire for a manual one…

I thought Crossup just suited it more.

In my defence, I am bad at geography and live at least an ocean and half a continent away from them, surely you can forgive my mistake.

Thank you, I like the word Crossup a lot too, ever since I invented it about two hours ago and now try to shove it edgeways into everything

Hmm, think if both this and the Maverick were available here in the U.K., I dunno which Crossup I’d choose.

I still can’t imagine how this thing drives even after sitting in one an age ago. I’ve driven a gen 1 Elise, it’s still the best thing I’ve driven. To think that the 340R is lighter and more powerful? That must be like a bullet off the line.

Sounds very compelling a car tbh, I’m just sorta pissed it’s not available here in the U.K. despite being based off the Ranger, that is available here and sells well. We get the Wrangler, but it starts at £48,000, which is way too much for what it is and frankly, when the Defender starts at £42k, any appeal drops off

Actually some morons who happen to be British did, plus it was a very questionable 51% leave to 49% stay (way too close and yet no recount or anything?) and low voter turnout. Basically a shit situation caused by a surprising small amount of complete arseholes, plus taking into account the then prime minister said

Good!

Just imagined the logical conclusion of someone unwittingly having a Tesla with this fault:

Colin McRae and Michael Schumacher.

Never had an issue adapting from LHD games to RHD, just feels a fraction more natural, maybe I’m weird and don’t notice the changes?

I mean I am from the U.K., we have pretty scenery, but like, it’s basically farmland, rolling hills, some bumpy bits then sea, not that diverse.
