I have been mentioning for a few years now that the Lucid factory location sucks, being in a town of 50,000 with almost everyone in Phoenix and Tucson having an hour commute each way if the traffic is good and there are no accidents. With an accident you can easily find yourself with no way off of I-10 so you just

Saturn could lean on GM’s car knowledge and supply chain.

You act like Saturn was inventing new technology. You also act like cars are not manufactured today that immediately get hundreds of thousands of them recalled. Saturn just used GM bin parts already well known technology, they were not doing anything new in any way except stamping bodies out. What Lucid, Tesla, and

i came in and ruined the place

Man. I know that convergent design trends exist and that Hyundai is staffed by ex-VAG designers, but...

Civic Si. It’s been at basically the same power level for over a decade. A 2006 Civic Si makes 197hp. A 2022 Civic Si makes 200hp. I get that the fuel economy is better and it has a better torque curve but to be honest that’s not why people buy an Si.

Mazda 3 Turbo. 250HP/310lbft with AWD.

The Mazdaspeed 3 could have potentially existed if Mazda didn’t can their Mazda 3 TCR race car due to COVID.

I’m sitting at a Miata specialist right now for some spring maintenance, and I’m considering asking about supercharging my car.

Imagine a little Mazda 3 hatch that you could thrash around a racetrack for one minute, then stop off and stock up on groceries on your way home? Give the stock car a little more power, some slightly flared wheel arches, a big wing and a nice manual shifter and there you have it. The real car for the people.

The Miata is wonderful and I plan to own one for as long as I can, but I would be lying if I said I don’t occasionally pine for more horsepower.

GT86!

Challenger Hellcat. 807hp is just not enough in this day and age, you just can’t safely merge onto a freeway with it!

When did this occur? What I see is 4/15/22. Not old material.

Three time major market multiline m/c dealership service manger here (NYC, L.A. and SF bay area)

It is the minivan they smacked into next to the sign they bounced off that I feel sorry for. That is an insurance mess they do not need.

Challenge the credit pulls on your credit report with the 3 credit bureaus. They are required by law to investigate and get proof of the pulls. If the dealerships does not show proof of your agreement to have it pulled within 30 days, they are required by law, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, to remove them.

I am fortunate to have an excellent credit score and very little debt, but it makes my blood boil that the mere act of applying for credit lowers one’s score. I deeply resent that we are dependent on the big credit bureaus, but we have no say in their operations, not do they have much regulatory oversight.

Nah, it was 65 and dry that day. The tires that guy had were from 2016. I know the guy who was hosting the meet this happened after, multiple people saw the date code on the tires before this happened. This guy was just an idiot- he also just got the car in October. Probably only the second or third time he took it
