They ARE self serving pieces of shit. They used their campaign contributions as bribes to cajole to the highest bidders - in this case the Ford, GM, and Chrysler. They have shown what they are, and deserve all of the hate mail that they’re getting. Every one of them should be escorted OUT of their offices in…
Tens of Tesla Youtubers are thrilled!
I suppose none of Hyundai UK’s salespeople are in the running for this
Anything to bring back WHY DID YOU TURN?!
Insurance fraud for only 15k CAD? People do it for less but it seems like if you can afford to build a $100k car (valuation suspect) you’re not risking jail time for $15k.
Regular Car Reviews is an acquired taste, but I’ve acquired it.
There’s no such thing as “AWD wheels” on the Tesla.
SMART. Those will never need new tires, ever.
He claims to be “thrifty”, but would prefer to sell his car for probably a loss of several thousand dollars instead of buying $800 worth of tires.
This isn’t that uncommon. I’ve seen high-end luxury cars all the time with badly worn and unsafe tires. I’ve even told complete strangers “Hey, you may want to get some new tires on that” and they look at me baffled.
Selling the car is the only right thing to do. Please stay far, far away from vehicles with wheels. Or move to a country where mandatory periodic vehicle inspections are mandatory.
See, that’s just it. Guilia knows she’s hot, so she’s just slowing down for everyone to properly admire her.
I’d like to know what caused the issue. I haven’t heard of any other journalists or owners experiencing this... yet.
In other news Jaguar denies claim to any new models launched at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Nah, the problem with an electrified R8 is that it’s still an R8. There’s not enough visible differentiation. I bet if Tesla came out with a 2 seat sports car using the Model S’ drivetrain, they’d sell fine. I think the Porsche Mission E would also do well if they produced it.
The reason why this fails, every time, is that you can already buy an electric supercar. It just looks like a regular sedan. I’m talking abut Teslas, of course.
Same... Still, who would’ve guessed that Honda wouldn’t be able to produce a reliable V6-turbo? Was such a big shake-up of the engine regs, it was anybody’s guess which engines would be competitive out of the gate. Honda seemed as good a guess as anyone; that they STILL can’t get their shit together 3 years running…
I think the issue is that F1 power unit development is enormously expensive. They sell expensive cars, but McLaren are a very small company with a fraction of the resources of Mercedes, FIAT-Chrysler, or Nissan-Renault.
Next season. A Merc engine wouldn’t work in the current chassis, so they’d have to wait to do a redesign.
