I can confirm this is a huge issue. I personally own a ‘16 C7 Z51 M7 that runs strong at the tracks down here in Texas in the middle of the summer. However every event I’ve been to except one, that has had a C7 Z06 on the track has had at least one come off early because of the limp mode issue. Heck, there’s over 250…

It’s not just the engine... it’s the turbo, the heat recovery unit, the energy recovery units (braking AND turbo), the batteries... It recently came out that for some unknown reason, something is destroying the bearings in the turbo / energy recovery unit which results in the turbo/energy recovery units being trashed…
