Tobasco sauce is an ingredient. It makes food better by going in it, not on it. Franks and Cholula are condiments. They make food better by going on it.

Honestly, I had the same response. It kinda seems like maybe St. Vincent & Madden just didn’t hit it off, and so the interview ended up just striking the tone of awkward small talk with a nosy co-worker.
Yeah this is kind of my takeaway too - even the excerpt used in this article is super weird. It seems like the author was trying to bait her into giving quotes about political issues she didn’t really want to comment on and wouldn’t take no for an answer. I get that it’s your job as a journalist to get juicy quotes…
The last time I had one of those McD’s “homestyle” chicken sandwiches, it had the unique texture of feeling overcook and raw at the same time.
i remember in the book (or maybe the film) when the son eventually realizes that all his dad’s talk about using fire to form ice is actually about making a common household fridge/freezer & that for all his brilliance, his dad was full of bullshit.
I’m looking forward to trying Burger King’s based on this list; I assume I’ll still end up preferring Popeyes, but BK has needed a good chicken sandwich for a while, so I’m optimistic.
I had a fried chicken sandwich at a local place the other day that was either extremely dry dark meat, or turkey. I took the “try not to think about it” approach too.

And how is that any different from most other Florida residents?
“But what is my motivation? Why is this lady selling churros? Did her father buy her a churro on the day he died and so churros are important to her emotionally?”
If we can’t have a world without bigots, I guess I’ll have to settle for a world where they can only vacation at that weird Noah’s Ark theme park.
Yet for almost 100 years Donald Duck still doesn’t have any pants.
“cast members” are all public-facing Disney employees. Designating them as ‘cast’ (as in, performers in a show) allowed them (at least some time in the past) to more rigorously specify employee appearance, dress code, etc. i.e. “You wearing pants isn’t a ‘reasonable accommodation’. You are being cast in the role of…
God the marching band thing was such a fun but totally surreal experience. It’s over so quickly!
I got to go and play with my marching band in Highschool and our teacher had to wear a band aid on his ear to hide his earing
While the ideal situation would be for bigots to learn their lesson and grow as people, that ain’t happening, so here’s hoping they boycott the parks so the rest of us get shorter, asshole-free lines
