They’ve made fun of Cuomo and Newsome a lot, including later in that Weekend Update segment you mentioned. Is it possible that you just are inventing ways to make your ideology seem victimized because you know deep down that there’s absolutely nothing worth defending in your actual beliefs?

They actually had more about Cuomo than they have about Gaetz - two cold open appearances, and Update jokes, whereas Gaetz got one cold open and then some Update jokes.

1. I thought the star trek skit was great.

I remember hearing about this show and thinking “Sutton Foster’s great, I should check it out!” and then forgot about it...for years. A lot of these shows would probably find larger audiences if they threw a larger net, marketing wise.

I fucking loved Selfie, but all anybody really saw of it was the name and the ill-advised gross-out gag from the pilot.

Can we just start calling these men straight up pedophiles? Don’t care how close some are to being legal...

I’m sorry but despite the great Katey Sagal and the project’s other merits, I’m not watching a show where a character is nicknamed “Rebel.” Maybe I would have if Rebel were actually a very timid woman who never left her house, but even then it’s a stupid, unbelievable nickname.

how is babby formed? How girl get pragnent?

Rossum won her pay equity fight, but basically wanted to move on to projects where she had more control. I don’t think it was a failed negotiation: she wanted to leave.

The first three seasons were fun but frustrating - they kept coming so close to what I felt was the Platonic ideal of the show and instead making bizarre writing choices to kneecap it. Then in the fourth season, they absolutely nailed it...only to completely botch the next two. At that point I gave up, because once a

Honestly, the takeaway I got from this was less “Jamie Kennedy isn’t woke enough” but “Jamie Kennedy gotta eat.”

Jesus, two years later and I’m never going to stop feeling vicariously embarrassed by people calling Captain Marvel’s 90 seconds of air force content that’s entirely about how they’re a bunch of misogynist pricks ‘military propaganda’.

Speaking about good jokes, there’s a joke among pro-choicers that describes a lot of Americans’ take on abortion: they believe in it in cases of rape, incest, and me.

“I'm a centrist!" tends to be an easy way to admit one neither believes in nor actually stands for anything. At least that's how I've seen it used lately.

I’m hardly standing up for Amazon here, but “slaves” is going way too far.

Still mad they cancelled the original show. Even though if it were still on, they’d be dragged into all these dumb crossovers and I would have hated that, but the original show was my absolute favourite comfort show.

Stabler had his problems, but I still contend a lot of those early-ish SVU episodes (Seasons 2 - 8/9), were some of the best hour-long procedurals ever. Facinating, thought provoking cases. Once Warren Leight took over, it went so far down hill it was a joke. Cragen dating a hooker and being framed for murder? Hard

I’m just VERY excited to have Benson and Stabler back together, no matter how dumb and contrived it is. (Why is SVU being called to a car bombing in the first place?)
