If anyone hasn't checked out the Pixelmon mod yet, it's really incredible how faithful it is. They continually update models for the Pokemon, and it adds a new element of gameplay to the Minecraft experience. Definitely worth just trying, I think I might actually prefer it to vanilla Minecraft.
