It was the first game of season 4 spring split against TSM.

Dell also owns Alienware, and Alienware is every lazy kid’s gaming computer.
First sentence. He called it League of Losers.
I agree that it makes it seem like a slow news day when this gets an article, when there’s truly a lot happening within League right now that isn’t getting covered, while this is. Like, there’s a reason Flame getting unbenched sits atop the League subreddit, because it’s a big story and people give a shit about it.…
You achieve excellence when elite talent competes against elite talent. NA LCS has very little in the way of elite talent, when 90% of the NA LCS is complete garbage because the NACS scene is pitiful.
Compared to every other region, NA’s skill level is pathetic. And yeah it’s a real shame that two of Riot’s Top 20 players at Worlds, Doublelift and Aphromoo, are knocked out of the tournament. They were just too good.
do you?
A better response would be something akin to, “I was talking out of my ass on this one, my bad”. Because when you say things like, “everything we know about psychology” in such an absolutist way like everything in the world agrees with your point, yet you have nothing backing it up. When you talk as if what you are…
Yeah, I love this reply. The “you know my argument is infallible, right?” reply. Without citation, without any support, but “you know that all of history sides with me, right?”, and opposition to that is “ridiculous”.
And I fundamentally disagree.
Twice I qualified my point about toxicity with, “the manner in which they are express it may not be”. Meaning, the place that they are coming from is a point of validity. How they choose to express it is where we draw the line in regards to social acceptability.
If someone in a MOBA is getting mad at you, sometimes it is justified. The manner in which they are expressing it may not be. But, it should be a motivating factor for you to improve. It boils down to that. If you want people to get off of your back when you’re playing, play better. And if you truly feel you’re…
I’m saying a chess grandmaster’s skill in chess does not translate into other games perceived as simpler than chess. His skill in chess does not make him the king of Monopoly, Reversi, Poker, Mahjong etc.
Your MMR isn’t 1:1 with game knowledge, you will win games unknowingly and although you are a participant, you are not a full contributor. And yes, it is a hurdle, as I personally do not have a desire to slowly accrue game knowledge over thousands of hours. When the learning curve is: fail hard when you fail, and have…
This is the most reasoned response I’ve got.
But you’re prefacing that with your experience and saying that in your experience with both games, you find DOTA harder. That’s fine. I’m saying that in my experience, neither game is more difficult than another, they are simply different games. Even within your comparison, of NFS on auto, and GT on manual, the skills…
I was wondering when this was finally going to hit, I remember people at GDQ talking about Kotaku being there, but I never actually ran into you guys.
I get my MOBA fill from League, and it’s satisfying, I don’t feel the need to jump ship regardless if the grass is greener. I’m the same way, still slowly working my way through MGSV, playing League occasionally, other stuff too. But I don’t get how DOTA fans are so offended by my comment lol. I have nothing against…
Who is frustrated? You’re ranting in massive paragraphs to the author of this post as if your point is coming across well (I assure you, it isn’t.)
“no interest in arguing”, words to live by, my friend.
