For a person who is half man, half fish, he sure likes to cry a lot.

It's very much this.
I agree, that's the game's biggest weak point. The digimon take a considerably long time to raise, and when they die (which is often, towards the later stages of the game), it's back to square one.
Weird is certainly an operative word. The whole game had an aura of weirdness about it, the dialogue in the game can certainly be quirky at times. But it was fun, and it had that aspect about it that Pokemon didn't, the Digimon talked. You could interact with them and it was cool to build up your town. Kind of a…
Perhaps you were raising your Digimon improperly, they do listen to you when they're champion or ultimate form. When you have a multitude of actions for them to do, and they have high happiness, they'll do them. I think the combat is one of the weaker points of this game's appeal (and one of the higher points for…
It has a lot of depth for a game of its age. You can take your Digimon and digivolve it into basically any other Digimon. It's a solid RPG, not the best, but there's a lot of fun to be had with it.
Nothing like the old classic Digimon World right here. Pokemon wishes it could do a 3D console game as good.

Okay, BL2 creators, we get it, you wish your game was as good as Dark Souls.
Then you'll be unfulfilled. Those things aren't happening anytime soon, if ever.
Be ungrateful then. You'll never get what you want from GameFreak. They play it safe, and we're the losers.
My life-long dilemma.
You're right, you are stupid.
I wouldn't want to see Mario's Missed Connections go away.
That seventh paragraph is like witnessing someone's brain melting from anger.
I entirely do.
