Picky eaters are weird to me. I understand not liking a specific type of food (say, blue cheese) but I know people who refuse to eat cheese altogether because they don't like the taste. I try explaining there's a thousand different flavors and textures of cheese but they'll have none of it. Now THAT I do not

Which is completely fucking insane when you think about it.

I gotta say, the worst thing about my (millennial) generation is complete lack of social commitment. I can't tell you how often people blow off social engagements they previously agreed to (especially egregious with Facebook invites, I've reverted back to written, mailed invites and STILL people simply ignore them or

My biggest flaw is farting in my cubicle. Sorry cube-neighbors!

I totally agree, but it's the cost of entry now. Unfortunately (or maybe not) the value of a bachelors degree is worth almost nothing now that so many people have one. Masters is the new bachelors.

This exactly. I came in early and stayed late for YEARS and pressed hard for a raise/promotion and never got one. Fuck that. I started giving less and less time and energy and got paid the same. Was much happier for it.

Not at all. But universities are desperate, they'll basically accept anyone for a mid-tier MBA program (not unlike most undergraduate programs as well).

I recall somewhere in the old EU they were built almost at the same time I think?

Every single employee under 30 at my company has a masters degree. Not kidding. It's basically the new "cost of entry" for a decent entry-level job. I have two, and I'm (finally) doing okay.

Yea, I watched/read some reviews after. They seemed generally positive though. I think the problem is everyone had the story of the Death Star plans in their head…there was bound to be letdown (not unlike how Darth Vader's "birth" was almost hilarious in its terribleness).

I guess that's fair, but thinking back on it, did Vader directly kill many people in the OT? It always seemed below him. (Thinking back, I feel like he harmed more imperial officers than rebels in A New Hope - he probably killed more rebels in the first Death Star run than any other time).

Oh they definitely had time, but they spent it reanimating Peter Cushing.

This is my feeling too. It ended on such a high note, you left feeling pretty good. But after thinking on it a bit, I don't think I liked it much at all and will have a hard time rewatching that choppy first half.

I thought it was cool as anyone, but did it strike you as…odd that it didn't quite line up with Episode 4? I watched them back to back, and after the Rogue One thrashing, he just kinda chokes a guy and throws him in Episode 4. I dunno, maybe I like that Vader a little better, the one with a bit more restraint?

Yea, if they were doing a tour for a new album I'd probably be "eh" on it, but I definitely want to see Joshua Tree done live. Should be awesome.

I went to his show earlier this year, it was pretty solid. Nothing super groundbreaking, but he'll just beat a topic into the ground in such a perfect way…hard to explain, but he ends it RIGHT when it starts to get old.

I think he was referencing "the voice" Gaffigan does and not seriously criticizing his act.

diarrhea pockeeettttt

Bees, Michael. BEEZ!!!!

Oh man, I've seen Twilight Imperium and it looks incredible - but as you said, we'd almost have to split up the game sessions, and I'm not sure we could meet more than once a week, so it'd be tough. So far we can pull of 2 games that last 2 hours, or one long game that lasts 3-4 hours. Twilight Imperium seems out of
