La Rumorosa, Baja California in heavy fog. 2 lanes, narrow, no guardrails and a really scary deep cliff right beside you.
Yep. I found that out.
One time I bought drain cleaner and didn’t notice the cap was loose. When I got home it had leaked onto the carpet in the cargo area. I saw the stuff was a base and googled how to neutralize it. I squeezed lemon juice onto the area where the stuff had spilled and saved the carpet from being eaten up by the drain…
I tried making an electric turbo once. I used a motor from a cordless drill, cut out an impeller from sheet metal, made a housing and adapters from PVC and hooked it up to a 12V gel battery from an electric cart. I took the car out for a test drive to scientifically measure the S.O.T.P. difference. Nothing!
The new bearings were in the cargo area. They were never installed. I was on the way to have them installed.
My last Vette was a 93 I bought for 3500 in 2013. My Corvette tax story has to do with crossing the border into mex to have new rear bearings installed on the cheap. As I was going through Mexico customs the agent looked in the rear cargo area, sent me to secondary and accused me of trying to “illegally import car…
My mom had a Capri II sometime around 1984. She bought it from some slimmy used car dealer in town. It was a neat little car, but I do remember her having a hard time finding parts when something broke. She ended up giving it to my aunt after graduating college, who then passed it to one of my cousins when she bought…
1989 Olds Cutlass Supreme I bought in 1998. It had the worst digital i/p. Just big numbers for speed readout, and a couple of bar graphs for fuel and temp. My face glowed green when driving at night. But I grew to love the car. It was very reliable, decent on gas, and I had some fun in it. I wouldn't mind having…
If they do keep that steering wheel these would probably come in handy
It looks nice enough, I guess. But for 7500 I think you should be able to take it for a test drive around the block. Get her to run and we’ll talk.
I’ve always liked this 1993 Chevy Highlander concept. Even though it looks like something The Joker would take off roading with that combination of green and purple.
It is ugly.
Here’s another concept truck from Ford.
I see what you’re saying. This was a Ford heavy duty concept. There was another Ford concept I was looking for that had a more rounded cab, almost like what Nissan did with with the cab of the Armada but on a pickup.
So you make poor decisions when it comes to cars huh?
If it’s people you want to smuggle I guess any car will do as long as you know how to pull it off.
reminds me of an old joke.
Scammers saw this ad and probably ran for the hills since they’ve been warned!
