I agree, but in this case this episode took from a plot point in the comics and it's important to at least be aware of and recognize that rather than just assume the producers of the show are just trying to shock people.

I always jump over here to read the review of the latest episode as soon as I finish watching and for once I was actually surprised by the grade/review that awaited me. You clearly have not read the comics before and I really think you should before flying off the handle about how the show has simply resorted to shock…
