I think MS agrees - thats why they do game streaming, they no longer care if you want to buy an xbox console - they care only about gamepass.

I get your perspective, its a weird one to me - bottom line they needed exclusives, this was fastest way to get them, once they paid their money they get to choose. End of story. not to mention that Sony never bought a developer to lock up something they were already developing is a nonsense. It is literally their

gotta agree, this is one large thread of sour grapes

err it was literally said for each game shown in terms of if it was pc only or console only (not in terms of steam) - anything assume to be on both.

its not to say fuck you to sony, no one is that childish when making decisions with that many zeros. its about how they maximize the return on the investment and meet their strategic goal - which is xbox/pc/gamepass

its possible - it does mean they only have to think about one API surface - directx

Of course its BS. Microsoft only want you playing on xbox console or on PC. And given how much they paid its obvious why. So yeah he’s full of it - i met him once at game show, he was full of it then too.

and you can do that, gamepass doesn’t stop you from doing that, all gamepass titles can be bought like normal too.

Well written, though the flaw here is that the negative impression is with PS5 owners who were never going to play said game on PC or buy xbox, so exactly how does this negative impression impact affect MS - not at all, the people it affects negatively will just stew in their own juices and some other % of PS5 owners

or “Not very good game now available on PS5, no one with a PS5 or XS X|S cares”

(i agree, would be good if kinja had a ‘remind me to followup on this post in 2/5 years button, lol)

PS5 is welcome to it, by all accounts no one is choosing which console they buy based on this specific title. In same way no one buys a PS5 for astros play room (a great little game BTW).

Consumption tax is just about the worst tax idea ever, it is inherently regressive. It fails at least one of Adam Smiths 4 cannons. Basically consumption doesn’t occur in a linear fashion with income or wealth. A single % for all income and capital gains applied to people and companies (who want rights of a person but

Agree it revealed crap all, and Todd Howard games have been hit and miss more recently so no trust from that it will be good.

You are getting those comments because you entirely missed the point of MS strategy. It’s not petty. MS strategy is to sell game pass because that makes them more revenue and more profit in the long run. By having things be gamepass exclusive they achieve their objective. They are trading the $30 (ARPU lifetime) for a

You seem to be taking a comedy article a little personally here. Being that emotionally invested in this topic is a little worrying, get help?

yup seems like you are screwed ¯\(°_o)/¯

Nope, nope it isn’t. The store shows:

Can’t wait to see this have the lightsaber as a true light emitting source.

No it isn’t PC and xbox have had positional audio for decades, without the need for headphones too.
