Come at me, bros.: there are two things that are wrong-headed about people who are objecting to this decision.

I honestly would have preferred the messenger if it had dropped the entire metroidvania portion of the game and kept it a linear adventure.  The padding and how long it dragged on soured it a bit for me.

Uproar over cultural appropriation is BS 99% of the time. I think culture if too often conflated with ethnicity as well. It’s natural for culture to spread.

How is this anti-consumer? Both stores are free to download so the consumer isn't paying anything extra due to this exclusive deal. Third party exclusives for consoles is anti-consumer but I don't think this is.

TvC doesn’t get enough respect. It lives in the Street Fighter x Tekken rung of fighting games to me. Tatsunoko vs Capcom is on my list for one of the best fighting games I’ve ever played. I consider it a true sequel to the Marvel vs Capcom series in terms of mechanics and pure ridiculousness of the cast.
