It's a mix of stop motion and CGI. So quite a bit of that plastic is real.

The best part about this movie is the stop motion animation. I really hated that, in other LEGO movies and games, minifigures could stretch and deform their body parts, unlike their real life counterparts. Now this here is authentic LEGO.

I distinctly remember a lot of people - and I mean A LOT - giving Nintendo endless shit because the Wii U's launch was comprised in its majority by ports and multiplatform releases. I mean, Mass Effect 3? Darksiders 2? Black Ops 2? Assassin's Creed 3? Why buy a Wii U when you can play all of these on a PS3?

Actually no. The highest selling game in history is Wii Sports at 81.51 million globally. 29 million puts GTA 5 around 8th place; after New Super Mario Bros(29.25 million) on DS and before Wii Fit(28.81 million) on Wii.
