It could also be that Arc makes anime-style fighters. Capcom and Netherealm specifically try to create projects visually and thematically appealing to a western audience. Their mileage varies, but it definitely affects the total number of western players in each game.

I finally booted up Origins the other night.

One of the worst UX/UI experiences I’ve ever had. And the game was pretty boring to boot and filled with crummy sidequests. After a few hours I decided to sell it. I’m disappointed.

I find it fascinating that he said all this instead of just making a generic statement. I wonder if his fans will be more understanding thanks to this.
