Holy hell this game looks terrible. I almost forgot how jank this game looks. What a sad reminder. . .

what the hot fuck
I’m still not sold on the 3D CG anime thing, but it’s Godzilla so I’m watching anyways. Glad to hear it’s briskly paced and entertaining!
I LOVE watching KoF. I watched a lot of 02 UM and XIII back in the day.
The Warioware DS flash game had unique music iirc. I might never find that soundtrack again lol.
Some of these are last gen ports. Dragon’s Dogma on PS3 was a mere 11 GB. Dark Souls 3.8GB. Darksiders 2 9.3 GB. Bayonetta 2 14 GB. CoD Ghosts was around 9GB.
Assets are what usually take up such huge amounts of storage, so DOOM seems like a natural and reasonable shrink, but RE:R 2 and LA Noire seem silly big to me.…
There’s gotta be a reason for this. These sizes are insane. I get that using a non-proprietary engine means you will have overhead, but not all of these are using something like Unity or Unreal. I wonder what the issue is.
Did you play Extreme Butoden or the PSP budokai games? You’d probably dig them if you prefer 2D fighting. Extreme Butoden is the foundation for FighterZ (they’re both ArcSys).
I played the hell out of SuperSonic Warriors 2 on DS:
No Runbow or Spin the Bottle: Bumpy’s Party in the Party section breaks my heart. Those are games adored by kids through and through.
One that wasn’t as popular but definitely should earn its place... Gotcha Force:
I remember going to animethon in Edmonton one year (The final year?).
It was my first time at an anime convention. And since I’m a bit more old school in my anime tastes I expected a lot of newer characters to blur into nothingness in my mind (what anime could THAT schoolgirl be from...?).
But walking down the halls…
Can I just say that this is a lovely review? Like, I want more reviews like this. This is great.
Metroidvanias ARE forced repitition... :/
Good on you! As a fellow lifter, I’m glad you got inspired to lift and become strong. It’s always good to see more diversity in the weightroom.
And while I can’t pinpoint a specific thing or character that inspired me to lift, I think Ryo from Art of Fighting and Terry from Fatal Fury definitely helped lol.
I actually just want the Ultraman suit.
SP only? Damn. Really would’ve dog local MP. . .
I’d be down for this, but the visuals just lack energy and polish. . .
So.... There’s no ACTUAL reason to use this over Skype, right?
I mean, that’s what I did with Splatoon 1... That’s what I’ll do here, it sounds like...
First off, thanks for reporting on this. Tokusatsu and SPFX shows/movies are a huge part of Japanese culture but I only see the occasional post on here so it makes me happy to see this being reported on here.
Second off, it is worth mentioning that there is a lot more to this story than a Chinese company simply ripping…
