I quite literally write, in the opening paragraph: “She is neither married to Phillippe or responsible for him.” She is in both the cover image and in the bulk of the article, however, because her inclusion in the lawsuit, and Hewitt’s belief she has evidence to prove guilt, defined significant portions of the legal

His lawyers also claim that he did not throw her down the stairs—merely, he picked her up, tried to carry her out of the house , but slipped before reaching the stairs and caught her in his arms.

Just because they don’t look peculiar together does not mean that their age difference isn’t problematic. He’d been an adult for the entire time she’d been alive. She’d been an adult for all of 3 years.  Compound that with power, money, and influence. Ooof.

...linking Bill Clinton to Epstein’s demise. (That he’d do so was particularly bizarre, given that Trump also knew Epstein for many years, calling him “terrific” and telling New York in 2002, that Epstein “likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.”

Thank you for this article. It brings to mind Sinead O’Connor’s public outcry over what was happening in Ireland and abuse - and now we know deaths- of thousands of newborns and wee children right in front of the so called blind eyes of the government in collusion with the Catholic Church.

Aging Anakin up to be like 12 or 13 solves one of the biggest issues at the heart of TPM.

I recently rewatched the whole series, and I didn’t think Phantom Menace was that bad. Attack of the Clones is so much worse. The outdated CGI is way overused compared to Phantom Menace, which relied on a surprising amount of practical effects. Anakin comes off as such an unlikable creep. Padme is rightfully turned

Rewatched this with my son (who loved it) and realized how much of the film’s problems actually fall on Jake Lloyd just not being that good of an actor (which is totally not his fault and he never deserved the stupid attacks that 30 year old men threw at him). If Anakin had been portrayed as a teenager it may have

The teaser poster had me so hyped! (The movie didn’t really live up to it...)

For a movie that seemingly puts too little thought into dialogue, acting, and story, loads of thought was put into every other aspect of the film.”

Pretty sure they met on Mad Men, too.

Really not happy with the way Carlson is being paraded around as some hero despite her willingness to shill Fox’s bullshit for years. Obviously she didn’t deserve the treatment she got from Ailes, but it’ll be interesting if the miniseries’ portrayal of her has any more nuance. I tend to doubt it, though.

Remember, that’s not his real hairline.

In Hell, Mitch will be impaled upon one of the Cones of Dunshire, just out of reach of a delicious lo-cal calzone.

It’s such a clueless response, but it set Adam up to post the picture of McConnell posing in front of a confederate flag.

I just don’t understand the logic of replying with the Ice Town news story. Hopefully *something* will cost the turtle clown his turtle crown, though.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

I too use “Not great, Bob!” all the time, but also “THAT’S WHAT THE MONEY IS FOR!” and “Average” (from Roger: “Couldn’t sleep. Stayed up, watched the sunrise.” Don: “How was it?” Roger: “Average.”).

As embarrassing and corrupt as he is, Trump is still around 100,000 dead civilians and two wars away from being worse than Bush. Although I suspect when the Trump torture scandal finally outs, it will be the worst in America history.

Also the terrible stuff Bush/ Cheney set up (drones, surveillance state, sweeping executive powers, police militarization) is currently being used by Trump.
