Well he did play a podcast host on Mozart in the Jungle. (I only watched the first season, bot now I really want someone to discuss how that role fits with his spectrum of nerds.)

The podcast does a good job of starting with how Lewinsky wasn’t someone who had “nothing to loose” and didn’t choose to go public with it.

So that would mean they dated slightly after his divorce from Rita Hayworth?

I’ve mostly cut back my comic book reading to only creator owned titles, but The Sandman was what got me into comics (and in general, why I prefer DC of the big two) so I bought the first issue. I mostly liked it. I haven’t read the whole Metal series so I had no idea about how it influence Daniel to give up the

As someone who didn’t know much about Spider-Man before the Raimi movies came out, the organic versus mechanical web debate is pretty wacky.

Odd thing to say while he’s promoting a movie in which he plays David Duke.

Part of what made Tom King even approaching the wedding was the fact that the previous two long term head Batman writers (Grant Morrison and especially Scott Snyder) had really little use for Catwoman. Which is to say, I agree with you.

I’m currently on a super hero break, but I haven’t gotten over how underwhelming this creative teams second arc of Lady Killer was. The two page wordless fight scene here reminded me of the very long and gory murder in the the first issue of that and how that made me wonder “what’s the appeal?”

Focusing on the relations with Jodie is the most intriguing aspect to me. Jodie was always a good foil to some of Daria’s worst cynicism. It’s a good way to address the way the world’s different than in the 90s.

I do think the show was very much a product of it’s times and the cynical mock everything tone makes Daria much less sympathetic than when it originally aired. (Some of that could be read as a reaction to her hippies-turned-yuppies parents, and if the relaunch sets it amongst present day teens, they’d have to change

Seriously, what are the odds that the Canto Bight sequence WAS a backdoor pilot for Rian Johnson’s spinoff trillogy? because I couldn’t stop wondering that during the movie.

Men always reveal their most awful truths in Payboy interviews. I don’t know how to feel about this.

I’ve heard about this, but I’ve never read it.

Hughes comedy was political! It was that Reagan era, “put all the sixties/seventies stuff back in the box” type of backlash that refused to acknowledge itself as political, claiming to be more of a return to natural order (Later in life, under the pen name Edmonde Dantes, Hughes wrote the story for the Jennifer Lopez

Marla loves her, she’s okay.

It got him a great pool!

Her on screen husband from back then, Joseph C Phillips said something similar so I disagree.

In the sense that you can see a patern, he didn’t choose victims with whom he had long term working relationships. He knew to avoid those.
