I'm currently reading A Discovery of Witches. It has more in common with Twilight than I knew when I decided to read it. So I've been thinking about this type of question. The first part of the answer is that her "I'm nothing special" shtick and hatred of everything that she is before makes her unsympathetic. The

"diversity tokens" is what Shonda is asking for, not what I think diversity in story writing is or should be. If you watch one episode of a show and count the ethnically diverse people as Shonda has done, you're calling for tokens, not real diversity in writing.

Watch the video; that is the interviewer's thesis. Amy Sherman Palladino never directly criticizes Shonda Rhimes for this, just admits that men have generally been more supportive of her career.

Look, I see the Amy Sherman Palladino comment taken out of context and I just want to say watch the damn video. The interviewer clearly leads her into talking about the women supporting women stuff (the interviewer is horrible, she must have stopped being a lawyer because there she'd be censured for asking leading

At the very least Churches should have the same auditing standards as secular non profits. Those activities should be taxed, and the members of their congregations should get a say in what programs their donations go to.

From this and the rejection of person-hood amendments I have come to the conclusion that what people want from their laws and what they want from their legislators. They love legislators who say they're making everyone shape up, and not do dirty things like get abortions. But personally they think of exceptions that

I'm reading A Discovery of Witches because it was recommended. Only I am uninvolved to the point where I might hate it. Is it just that Twilight has made me averse to any vampire romances. Especially when said romance tends to drag any potentially interesting plot to a standstill.

Seriously, isn't she recovering from cancer? She might not want to spend that much energy at a public event.

I think you met into office. My cousin wore a Dick Cheney mask for Halloween in 2006

Remeber when he said Kanye saying "Geroge Bush doesn't care about black people was the worst part of his presidency? A presidency that included a terrorist attack, a hurricane of unprecedented damage, two wars, several allegations of corruption and a shit ton of mismanagement?

Stupid NME!

For ever amused that the Michael Meyers mask started as a Captain Kirk one. Glad to see Shatner is too.

Yeah, and she doesn't even like children, she just wanted to go through pregnancy that much. I have to really wish there was somebody in her life to point out the disconnect and get her to not have children

Yes, and Rooney Mara's sister.

He morphs in and out of his beast look. It's rather Hulk esque

They aren't biologically his children. It is rumored he didn't want his kids to deal with his vintiglio difficulties and chose his dermatologist as a sperm doner.

I honestly thought the Leighton Meester Mom suit thing was solve months ago.

Honestly I don't think anyone on GG has a genuine break out role. Blake had better buzz going into the show and has been able to capitalized on it.

I'm sorry to hear this. One of the giants in all of literature. RIP

I'm so disappointed. And I'm infuriated that Walker is taking the GWB type of "I'm making the tough decisions because I'm a manly" Rage flashbacks.
