After the Tony's your guaranteed not to have to deal with the crowds

I was watching outside The Beacon a bit last night and Patina Miller and her dress got a huge reaction, but I did not know who she was. Thank you for enlightening me.

Well she and Joel do live very near The Beacon, so she was just in the neighborhood.

I can't believe I am writing this, but that was not the season finale of Gossip Girl. It was two episodes prior, the one where Blair got engaged to Prince Louis and Chuck punched glass behind her head leading to some serious online debates about whether or not the show glamorizes abuse.

Sort of funny really preachy. Good cause though.

I have not watched any interviews about The Help yet but it is totally cute that they do that. I have not read the book, so I ahve nothing to say. I also have not seen much of Bryce's work, so I would have an easier time picking her husband out of line up (so glad he has been bumped up to a regular on Fringe)

I just realized that in The Help she co-stars with Bryce Dallas Howard meaning two Gwen Stacys on screen and one of them playing a bigot.

I feel I could be sympathetic to pro-life people. Sure you believe that life begins at conception and wanting to support it. But they are bullies! This is a mass Big Brother like bullying conspiracy. Hateful, single minded bullying. And as people pointed out bellow they have a nasty, recent history of not

Remember Sleater-Kinney moaned "they took our ideas to their marketing stars

"I don't know what I would have been like if everything on the radio had been like, "THERE IS NOTHING BEYOND TEENAGERS!!!" when I was thirteen or fourteen."

Well said. Later in the article she talks about how there doesn't seem to be many emerging girl group where they are playing instruments (an exception she mentions is Grace Potter, which kind of thrills me as I know her sister) and I can think of a few, but they are not getting the kind of attention or support that

Also the article links to the video. It is worth linking here too.

"I was lucky enough to learn about punk music when I was 19, because my bandmate Tobi Vail told me about it, and I was like, oh, wow, you don't necessarily have to have talent, you can just get up and do something and see where it takes you."

I really like this idea.

I sort of feel like I have no idea what Torchwood is going to be like anymore, but I am looking forward to it.

As soon as I saw this headline I thought "how many of these plots are from Torchwood?" The list did not disappoint. There was something really horrifying upon learning that the 456 wanted the kids to get high off of. And that their vomiting was probably withdrawl. (sp?)

Wait, there is going to be a statue of Regan at the US embassy?!

thanks, don't know that one, looking it up now... (I really like Sinead)

Sorry, which Sinead O'Connor song is about Thatcher?
