JVV is a great movie. The writing is surprisingly good, the gags still land. Peak young Hanks charisma. Also Meg Ryan plays three characters (all of whom are somehow likable?).

That was my exact thought. I would have been fine (though disagreed) if they had said they just didn't like the album.
