I find it odd that Special Features and The Criterion Collection are both mentioned as DVD things when they both started on Laserdisc. It was also the format that really ushered in Widescreen releases and Director's Cuts. I know Laserdiscs weren't popular, but to claim that DVD is what ushered in all of these things…

I actually have this Laserdisc! It's pretty fun to watch and a guy in Austria offered me stupid money for it.
