It's a bit of an odd choice for a paralogue considering ingrid and dorotheas support only goes to B and ingrid dislikes dorothea flirting with her...but it's a game full of interesting interactions. 

Difficulty is a core intent of the artist though. It's designed to make you feel a certain way. Actually beating a from software game is not intended to be a given. And as long as the difficulty is a core intent of the artist, there's nothing anyone can say.
