Yeah, but I'm not talking about her, I'm talking about the poorly written "fan stand-in" Osgood.

I think you're getting Osgood and Clara Oswald mixed up. I'm a fan of the latter.

Not excited about Osgood's return next week tbh…she and Kate Stewart (and UNIT in general in the new era) drive me nuts.

Nnnoooooooo….that's easily the worst BC imaginable. She looks like a starved dominatrix.

I only had time to read Karnak this week, but holy cow, that's some lazy Warren Ellis writing. I know he phones it in sometimes with his work for hire gigs, but sheesh.

I just got my pull, but I had to instantly get the new Gilbert Hernandez book out to read. Even when he's not illustrating, it's still pretty stunning stuff. Twilight Children is easily the best Vertigo book to carry the label in years.

I haven't cracked this open yet, but I really hope it's better than Daytripper. I picked that up in the Vertigo sale, and while it's beautiful…it's so overwrought and hokey. I also tend to prefer the more angular Ba art to Moon's smoother aesthetic, so perhaps getting a full book of that in black and white will appeal

I mean, take The Wicked + Divine, Lazarus, Sex Criminals, Wytches, Descender, every Millar comic, just as examples that come to me in a minute…all have been optioned for either a film or television series, a couple of them before the first issue even came out. I can't blame a creator for wanting to run with that

I think Jaime has the market cornered on that, but it's a close race.

Yeah, I read about three issues of it, and it really wasn't for me at all. But I do enjoy her work on Pretty Deadly and I'm glad that's returning.

The big issue I have with Image is that a lot of their material feels like it's made solely for the movie/television pitch and/or Big Two house-style with the serial numbers scrubbed off. Outside of Brandon Graham's various efforts and the occasional issue of Casanova, I have a tough time getting excited about a lot

Image has better residuals, but probably doesn't pay a page rate for its creators, which might be the bigger concern here.

I look forward to some seriously befuddled Cooke fans after they try to read a Beto-written comic.

The Tom King written books are my DC safe haven outside of anything Morrison does.

This season was almost perfect, except for that gaping hole of suck called "Get Schwifty" also known as the one episode I'll be skipping on any future rewatch.

It's been forever since I tried to watch School Reunion, though I've been getting a hankering for a full blown Seasons 2-8 rewatch, so perhaps I'll revisit.

Every episode pre-God Complex was awful is the point I was aiming for, if poorly worded.

Melodramatic mess? Hasn't that been the MO of this show since it relaunched or did I hallucinate all that 10-Rose stuff?

What? Whithouse finally wrote a good episode again after The God Complex? Color me shocked! Outside of Chris Chibnall, I'm not sure there's been a worse writer during the Moffat era.

The conclusion to Sandman Overture was beautiful…it's been forever since I read the whole series, so I'm not sure it was really a necessary addition to the canon, but I enjoyed the Williams artwork immensely.
