FYI, 3D printer prices ARE plummeting. Just search for RepRap kits, I got one for $300, and now I’ve seen some for $250. You aren’t limited to $2,000 MakerBots. If you plan to print a lot, it might be worth it to just buy one as compared to some of the high prices from online print websites.
