Spot on. I have been putting effort into riding my bike to work every day. If I can pull it off, I can buy myself an inefficient and impractical gasoline powered vehicle to have fun with. If I can't pull it off, I need something that can get me to and from work without a lot of waste.

No. Mobility means "I'd rather commute in an efficient way and hoon a sportscar in the weekends than try to find a compromise that doesn't exist".

The thing is, it's based on the wrong Omega. The Catera was based on the next generation model, so that would never fly.

We all know how this got here — legally through Canada, illegally into the US. In the words of the always astute Bring a Trailer commenters: BRING A LAWYER!

Ahh, I was confused because the author included the Z06, which is not on sale. I figured if we are including incoming new models that are not on sale, might as well throw out an honorable mention to the outgoing CCXR.

I always enjoy seeing some sportscar touting douche get absolutely OWNED by real power, and not some cocked up fart-tube exhuast and a cold air intake.

I'm having a hard time drawing any conclusions from the 23 seconds of video above, so I'm just going to chalk this up to two women drivers and move on.

Looks like she was trying to cut her off but the truck couldn't get in front, so she just went over anyway. She's committed, I'll give her that. Now lets commit her.

and I see no trackday rule that specifically prohibits lawn mower trailers.

Gotta love the amount of burner accounts disagreeing with you here.

I'm with you, and I'm disappointed that people are defending it.

My '06 E55 gets to over 120 in less than 12 secs... so this guy was probably going significantly faster than that... while towing a trailer. Insanely dangerous because of that last part. Shit...those tires on that trailer are probably rated to 55 mph max.

I think I'm getting old, because this makes way too much sense to me.

BS. I race at a nationally recognized race track (my street Porsche) and can do so thru PCA and a lot cheaper thru general course race days. Of course I cannot run like a jackass at most of these events which will most likely rule out half the street racers.

That was my first thought.... You wanna weigh down the MERC to prove a point, fill the trunk with bricks and have all your friends fill the extra seats... DO NOT PULL A TINY TRAILER ABOVE 55MPH.... That is just stupid beyond belief. This video was one gust of wind, or one pothole away from showing that trailer

Most clubs I drive with are ~$400 for two days, which is still way cheaper than even a minor wreck would cost.

Absolutely, then they say "but I can't afford a track day!" 1. Yes you can 2. If you really can't then I guess you don't get to go fast until you can.

$400 is less than a reckless driving ticket.

I agree with your sentiment. But how many tracks are going to let you pull a lawn mower behind your car on the track?

Looks like that 350 has a bumper-hole style cold air intake, so I think the official score is AMG-1 , Douchebag-0

Just remember to repeat the above phrase every 2 weeks to your mechanic. ;)
