How about this?
How about this?
It was more than the key though. They allowed Saab to tweak the suspension too. The don’t drive like any other trailvoy.
:( I agree.
In 2009 I sold my 2002 Honda S2000 that only had 32k miles on it for about $14k. It was $4k less than I bought for a couple of years prior when it 19k miles. I didn’t sell it because of the recession, I sold it because I didn’t like my daily. I used the S2k for cruising and autocross on the weekends. My daily at the…
These are actually somewhat enjoyable. It was a surprise to me as well. I’m sure a turbo ecotec would be an easy swap too. Maybe the B204 out of the Saab 9-3.
I’ve had this experience in other cars and feel like it is the design of the HVAC. After purchasing my 2003 Saab 9-5 for cheap 4 years ago, I set the temp to 70*, hit auto and haven’t made an adjustment since. It has sensors for sunlight, humidity, and knows if the coolant is cold so it won’t blast your with cold air.…
I believe eSaabparts and eEuroparts can get keys for you as well as any saab service center
Saab 9-3 TurboX is a great option here. I think it checks all the boxes and is easy to get a lot of power out of it.
But not the sonnet. He should look into a 9-3 turboX. More power, awd for daily, but sends a good amount of power to the rear.
I’m surprised they didn’t put the 10-speed in it.
Checking the plate in autocheck confirms it is a 4.7L V8
I drive a Saab 9-5 Aero Wagon. There weren’t too many of these made. It also came with Aftermarket wheels to further differentiate.
Good for Ben for buying the Saab. If Miata isn’t the answer, Saab is.
You insure it like any other car, except for way less. Insurance on Saabs is dirt cheap. There are plenty of parts available, some body panels might take some searching, but they are available. It is built on GM’s Epsilon 2 LWB platform so some parts match with the buick lacrosse. It’s engine (LP9) and drivetrain…
I was coming to post this. This is the exact right car. This one is a bit over priced. There are other Aeros with 40-50k miles for the mid teens. This one just has every. single. option.
WooHoo Saab 9-3 turbo!
an the beginning of the video you mentioned the bypass valve for when the boost is too much but, The bypass valve is for when you let off the gas.It has an internal wastegate to control pressure an an electronic boost controller.
They are great cars, I love my manual 2003 9-5 Aero Wagon. 157k miles and still a blast!
They must have been going for mannequins like in I am Legend with Will Smith. Plenty of Mannequin movement. 1:21 is the easiest to spot.
Maybe their tires were bald and they slid into/ over the curb?
An Ecotec would be a nightmare to swap in. The B235R engine in the Aeros is a great engine capable of 310hp/350tq. with minimal external mods. The weak link is the pistons. Better pistons and the motor can handle a lot of boost and power! The transmissions are strong too, although are all open diff. The Trionic 7 ECU…
