I'm shocked that I had to scroll this far to see this comment. That car is a 370Z with some SEMA work done to it.

It’s a heavily facelifted 370z. As a former 350z owner (I really enjoyed it), the interior especially is basically identical, with limited updates suggesting a refresh rather than a new model.

That actually happened on the set of Mission: Impossible 6 and if you think Tom gives a fuck about the studio losing a few bucks on his blockbuster film because he had to recover from an injury, think again, hotshot.

I’m sure Tom likes feeling like a badass when doing his own stunts but if he so much as breaks his ankle film production comes to a screeching halt and 100-plus crew members have no work for the next 6 weeks.

I know the dude is completely loco, but credit where it’s due: He does damn good work.

Lightning started most of these fires. The entire west coast is a tinderbox right now.

I love finding old cars in the woods. Behind my cottage as a kid there was quite a collection. One even had a record player!

I found a Simca deep in the woods last year. I’d never even seen one before, and this wasn’t near a single house.....

The Chinook, great to stand behind as you wait to board in the middle of the German winter basking in the hot turbine exhaust that’s warming your frozen body, bad to stand behind as you wait to board in the middle of the Iraqi summer being annoyed in the hot turbine exhaust that’s baking your already soaked-with-sweat

how about that round fuel tank that woulda been sitting right under the boat ... how did that not burn?

For years I hiked the canyons on both sides of the San Gabriels. The cars and trucks that were left behind years ago are sometimes enough to make you want to write a short story.

The small rivers of molten aluminum support that theory.

Do you know how bad it has to be for a Chinook combat pilot to go “Maybe we can’t make it?” Like the apocalypse bad.  These dudes are heros and seriously should be awarded medals for that flying bravery.  I don’t know what the Army awards aviators for their highest non combat medal, but they should get it.

No, this was closer to Fresno. That one was in San Bernardino.

No, but odds are it was started by a moron.

If you’ve ever driven through the small mountain towns of California (and Nevada) you’ll notice lots of older and classic cars parked at cabins or mountain homes. Cars that haven’t moved in years. I’m willing to bet that’s the case for some of the cars in these pictures, well, aside from the 30's sedan.

I feel like we can get a few more years out of it. Have we tried sticking a Hellcat in it yet? - Michael Manley

More info! Porsche’s people told me there’s an air deflector you can activate manually to solve the wind noise problem, which I wasn’t aware of while driving the car, but could resolve my beefs with noise. (Regardless, I stand by my recommendation re: Do a thorough test drive if you want to buy one.)

Citroen’s new Mehari Hellcat. (This is a real car by the way, i saw one in France)

Panda. They might need to take the back seats and put it the back to make it fit, but it would be absolutely bonkers in the same mould as the old Clio V6.
