I thought NASCAR was just a cultural thing that people experienced in big groups. I have been a car and racing fan for 35 years and have never been able to stand watching NASCAR on TV. To each their own. It was not my thing. My friends would watch in the background to see how thier fantasy NASCAR team was doing.

As much as Ford and Chevy would like to believe otherwise, for utilitarian cars they’re still plagued with quality issues you don’t see in Japanese cars. I don’t get it. It’s almost as if they were run by a mindless board that only wants to maximize profit for as long as they can while under-investing in R&D and

I flag for “low miles” when it has 180,000.

It’s all those dealers with their searchable text. That posting for a 2015 Toyota Tacoma for a bazillion dollars and they include this at the bottom:

...(clicks ad for $25 nearly new car) ... “Son of a bitch!!!  $25,000?!?!?  What a rip-off!!!”.

As long as I can still flag ads for bullshit like keyword spam, “$25” cars that hide their actual asking price “$25000” in the description, and other blatant lies.

I feel like everyone has moved to Facebook marketplace.

While I applaud this effort, it’s far too late. At least in my area, Facebook Marketplace has taken over the vast majority of the online selling scene. The local Craigslist is now filled to the brim with spam from dealerships, scams, and thirsty folks who abuse tagging. There was even a guy that bought a Chinese clone

I feel that Craigslist is now total garbage. Clearly the folks running it have decided to let it rot. If you search for ANYTHING now its useless: Look up say- a Toyota Tacoma and you’ll get maybe a few legit ads, the rest are just scam bait, and hordes of junk ads for completely unrelated shit.

Now that I know you have an Iphone, I’ve found you a Christmas present

Fair enough.

Take one for the team.

...per General Motors, the Regal will keep on being be sold in China...

I would... but I so hate.

Start buying annoying crossovers, please.

Do you pay your minimum taxes or do you donate more to “the cause”?

Wagon’s need good roads. The more the roads look like off road the more people are going to lean to off road vehicles.

It sucks but nobody is willing to pay to fix the road and the mass transit nutters are actively working on getting rid of roads.

This trend will continue.

I like the old one better, too.

I literally swapped my Hellcat for a 2020 FType Coupe yesterday. I’m happy I jumped when I did.

Here’s your side by side proof that old is better.
