How the hell did they do this WITHOUT retaining the Sheikah Slate’s glowy blue scanlines?

Can I just point out that I’ve only ever used PKHex in order to recreate Pokémon from my first ever game (a Mystery Dungeon game, as it happens) that I have a huge emotional attachment.
