Oh, but the article in question is terrible though. Guy writes a lot, but doesn't really say much.
For me the worst part of DaSII is the desgin mantra of the game. It's not so much challenging you, but punishing you. Look at the Shaded Woods, Drangleic Castle, the last part of the Cove, etc. It's about throwing a bunch of stuff at you and hoping that whatever sticks kills you.
As far as story goes, Other M was horrible. Samus was completely mishandled by her own creator. And as far as PTSD goes, it would've been more belivable if Samus hadn't killed Ridley a few times by then without almost breaking down and crying. Other M makes Samus out to be weak and co-dependent. Not to mention Adam…
I don't know what those spoilers are but I'm going to jump the gun and say they are not fake. And the 2.5 novel is even worse. It reads like fanfiction stuff. The audio drama continues from there, so it could never be anything good.
In what universe does the audio drama qualify as a strong point? Not only does it backpedal the story, it comes as a result from the amazingly horrible 2.5 novel.
