I think Mo’Nique’s performance is the most memorable part of the film. I just checked the IMDB trivia and Mo’Nique was a victim of incest herself, so maybe that is why she was so moving.

Have you seen Elle yet? It’s the one film I’ve really wanted to see this year. I’m probably going to rewatch I’ve Loved You So Long before it comes out on DVD.

I despise musicals and saw La La Land with family. I hated it, but that doesn’t make it a bad film. Maybe if I was on anti-depressants or if I was less of a hating ass bitch in general I would’ve liked it more.
