I liked book 3. It gave me inside knowledge of characters that I didn´t know. It made me understand how coming to the truth felt like. It help me understand how that last day must have being for many. And it kind of opens a way for the story to expand one day.

He wrote he was inspired by Twin Peaks. Nothing wrong with that.
People can get inspired of Led Zeppeling, Rolling Stones or whatever and play something much simpler, easy going. So what?
