Well, I like Rian Johnson but he'll be directing SW ep. VIII and IX apparently. Nicolas Winding Refn? I'm out of ideas aswell.

First of all, that's not replacing a character, that's revamping a whole franchise. Maybe Clooney/Kilmer in the really sketchy, almost unrelated, completely laughable rendition by Joel Schumacher.

Raylan and Justified over all has changed a lot, especially the dynamic. But I was just thinking about the first episode, you know and remembering Winona's closing dialogue "you are the angriest man I know," and thinking about Tim as Roland.

Not the same thing, at all. Who cares about the love interest? But if they replace Stephen they'd kill the show for sure. If they replaced Diggle, we'd be pissed. If they replaced Felicity, we'd be fuckin' mad, but if they replaced (or recast) Stephen/Oliver we'd riot.

I don't know if he would have wanted to get in shape though :/

I would like me some Tim Olyphant as Roland.

I wish you would take my radio to bathe with you, plugged in and ready to fall.

    Yes, in a river.

You don't need examples to debate. Just say what you think you have to say about it.

oh, gotta love these friendly geniuses!

Agreed, and I think him throwing the arrows with his hands is the tell tale.

    My world is ruined.

But, baby, you gotta have faith! No, but really, I get you. Just hoping they don't ruin Batman vs Superman. All I'm asking.

    A pessimist I reckon?

Why 'Beat' Takeshi? I don't get it. Plus, Takeshi Kitano is amazing.

I still don't like the mainly golden suit (Iron Man 3 suit.)

At the end of the day I go to my typewriter and write the hour and room I'm in. Just in case. And, of course, the difficulty (which is hard, always.)

Drew the same conclusion. I'm also seeing it with the audio muted. At work? Audio muted FTW!

Am I the only one that likes the idea of Carl taking Rick's teachings but applying them in his own way? I mean, you can hate the acting or, hell, even actor (which I don't) but that's good character building right there.
