For years, Aston has teased all of us with the “brilliance” of their chief of design Marek Reichman. I think he has to go. He’s had some nice ideas here and there but it finally came to brass tacks - when he was finally given a clean sheet he gives us this disappointment.

Counterpoint: The car world is already locked in the same upgrade cycle that the smartphone world is. Most people these days only keep their car for as long as the factory warranty covers them - an average of five years. Then it’s on to the next generation.

I don’t understand why anyone is actually interested or excited with the prospect of an Apple Car. Judging by the way Apple’s tech products are conceived and executed most likely the Apple Car will be made from cheap, budget materials that would be at home in a Chevrolet Celebrity then given the sheen of “premium”…
