I bought the first Battle Pass in Fortnite as a sort of “you’ve earned this” thank you/reward to Epic. They made a hell of a game and I felt they deserved some money. It was cool, but by the end it was so grindy that playing felt like a chore. I put the game down immediately after completing the pass and only picked

I can’t speak for all of them, but since when do GTA V, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Farcry 5 “never end?”

I love games that use action figures in a larger world as the design basis.

I find it odd that a game as openly panned as Sea of Thieves makes the list, but something far closer to the tastes of this list itself, such as Hollow Knight, gets no love.

And they’re allowed to. I just don’t want them lying about it.

You do not understand the point I am trying to make. Never once did I argue against this play pass (or whatever they call it) OR microtransactions.

I would definitely give this a try if it were on consoles.

I hear resoundingly good things. And I love a good rogue like. (My first game for the system was Enter the Gungeon.) Plus, you know, space is cool.

This is my argument with my wife every time she rolls her eyes at me for buying a new game or system. She’s finally come around on it after seeing what her friend’s husband spends on his cars. (PLUS he golfs.)

Jesus, you’re thick. I’m not saying they can’t implement these systems. My point is I don’t want them lying about WHY they implemented it.

Thank you.

“We didn’t even really think about it from a financial perspective,” Rudi said to Variety.

How can you disagree? The lead developer openly says they do not have such a problem. They get enough new players to sustain the game. Period.

I want Vermintide 2 so badly, but all my buddies who would play it are on PS4. Damn it. Lol

They’re free to do what they want. I get that. But don’t try and say it wasn’t what it is: a way to make more money. The fact he tries to say it’s “not even” a part of the process. Lol. Bull fucking shit.

No one is arguing otherwise. But he openly admits they get enough new players to sustain the game. Meaning the addition of the pass is actually even more purely financial of a decision. People are buying copies enough to sustain the title. This new pass is just straight bonus income. (Remember, the game also has

GTFO with that nonsense, Rocket Leagure director. If money wasn’t a factor and game design was the motivator, there would have been a progression system as a free update. But what happened? Instead it was made a short term pass and paying customers are being charged more money for it. CLEARLY it was a monetary

Everspace for $10 is super tempting, but I think I will prefer the mobility of the pending Switch release. The only other game I’d consider, They Are Billions, is only 20% off. I don’t buy sale titles unless savings crest 50%. :(

PBR. Narragansett (if I can find it). El Presidente. Natty Bo. Schlitz.

You’re the one who felt the need to correct and defend a joke clearly labeled as such.
