Also a solid solution.

I’d argue giving everyone the same chance and path to success is more fair than relying on RNG.
Not every competitive game needs to be fair. Especially not one where 99 people will lose the match.
RNGesus always working against me was one of the reasons I stopped playing Fortnite. (That and I put too many hours into it and needed a change of pace.)
Why would I want to watch something that made me not want a game in a setting I said I want a game in?
...I already said I was in?
After watching Atomic Blonde the other week, I support a spy game set in ‘80s Berlin.
This makes me very hesitant to continue playing any further. Knowing my luck, I’d get bugged.
This is what happened with The Division for me. It was way better when I played, than at launch. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Facebook is not the federal government. They’re allowed to remove whatever the fuck they want from their service. May it be bad for business? Yes. Does that make it illegal? Not remotely.
They should take all these PvE modes and link them together as an actual story mode. It wouldn’t be too different from a CoD campaign that puts you in the shoes of random soldiers around the globe.
One easy solution to this problem would be for Ubisoft to let you turn off or even refund your perk points after you’ve selected a skill. If you pick a skill that you end up not liking, it’d be nice to be able to get them back and pick something more important to your preferred play style. That should be in the game…
Plus, functionally speaking, I believe it’s that exact implementation of the story missions (where filling the meter kicks off a non-skippable “cinematic” mission) is what fundamentally holds back the game from allowing co-op partners to make progress as they play.
Not sure I agree with the sentiment FC5 doesn’t inconvenience the player. The constant omniscience of the enemies and their ability to take to the air to hunt you in helis and planes is very reminiscent of their hounding of the player in FC2.
I reeeeeeally wish FC5 had a minimap by way of a cell phone. I don’t mind that the minimap is removed from the UI, but it’d be nice for things like locating the dead bodies of fallen enemies/animals in the dark. If you could pull out your phone and be forced to distract yourself to gather that information, that’d be…
It looks like the Farcry Blood Dragon of Battle Royale games. I mean that as a compliment.
Pictures exist of all of these skins. You realize that right?
This is fascinating to me.
Well, to be fair, I didn’t know the game gained a zoom function in recent weeks. Last I played, it didn’t have one. The author seems to be unaware it has one, as well. So it’s hard for me to speak to the specific usability problems of zoom, as I haven’t used it and it’s not depicted here.
So if you get locked in the brig by other players (your ship’s or someone else’s)... what do you actually DO? You mention at the end that you can lock players up “for hours.” Does that mean that player is literally sitting in front of their TV, for hours on end, staring at the inside of a virtual jail cell? Do they…
