You act as though professional league-level athletes are the only athletes playing a sport. They are but a fraction of the community any given sport encompasses.

The comparison to Dead Space’s trajectory is spot on. Despite the fact I personally enjoyed the narrative arc of that series, there’s no denying it ended up shunning what made it great and embraced a gameplay style it didn’t start out with.

Farcry is my favorite shooter series, despite how samey they sometimes feel. I was already going to grab FC5 ASAP. Now I know I’ll also be getting the season pass, which is a rare occurrence for me.
