I played it on a New 3DS XL. The extra nub didn’t help at all, as the game wasn’t built for that nub and the nub itself was a pain in the ass to use. I didn’t like MH3U when I played it on my 3DS, but that was mostly because I could not come to terms with the camera controls. I hope the move to a standard console controller alleviates that issue.
