Because I felt it in the moment.

I’m heartbroken.

I am not making a statement on “shades” of blame. That’s for the courts to decide, not me.

I didn’t state I believed either of those things. Don’t project.

Not happy to set some sort of high score under these circumstances.

The SWAT officer who pulled the trigger is to blame. The person who called the fake incident into the police is to blame. The person who passed along the victim’s address is to blame.

Lolwhut?

Preach.

You can’t really call a game influential if we don’t know how or if it has influenced other titles yet, though.

Except for the fact they haven’t said that IS how it works, so no. We can’t just assume the EU rules still apply in this case.

Except when has the Empire or the FO ever once considered the lives of their own troops as valuable? They are cogs in a literal war machine. They give zero fucks about protecting their own troops as far as we’ve ever seen.

Cool nerd knowledge, but that’s the not the sort of Tie we’re talking about here is it?

Considering the Empire and the FO never once expressed any interest in saving the lives of their faceless slave troopers at any point prior to this movie, it seems a bit weird they got so concerned with it out of the blue.

I thought the PS4 Pro got its 4k support update? Did that patch not support HDR?

Except the EU doesn’t exist anymore and is non-canonical.

They did not have the numbers to combat the number of ships the FO had.

See my other comment. The First Order ships were shown to be chock full of Tie Fighters (they were literally waiting in the wings, unused), which are capable of engaging at the range the Rebel ships were shown to be at.

And like Holdo should have explained to her fleet what their plan was, then Hux should have explained that waiting them out was their plan.

Right. One TYPE of ship they had access to couldn’t hit them. Fine. But they literally had bays and bays and bays of ships that likely could catch up.

My only issue with this is that the large ships weren’t all that the FO had access to. They had two Tie fighters blow a massive hole in the bridge of the main ship with an escort of, what? half a dozen ships? Why couldn’t they send out the FLEETS of Ties and other smaller ships out to just annihilate the Rebel fleet?
